Week 51 - Voy a cumplir un año en México!

Hola!

This was a great week! Lots of interesting things happened. For example, this saturday we had four food appointments. Four! We ate breakfast at 10 with an investigator Mayra, then lunch at 2 with the RS President's family, then at 4 with another family, then at 7:30 we went to eat with another family of investigators. After the 3rd food, we were feeling super sick. I almost threw up, and my comp almost passed out. haha But we survived. I guess it is a good sign if people want to feed us. I won't complain haha

But all is going well. We had a pretty good zone conference with President. He spoke about how Joseph Smith's First Vision is one of the most important events to have ever occured on earth and that we should emphasize that in our lessons. I also read a cool article about Joseph. https://www.lds.org/liahona/2015/06/the-path-to-palmyra?lang=eng It talks about how even young Joseph had to pass through a lot of trials and that they helped him to become the prophet of the restoration. Read it!

Hope you all have a great week! It's been a great first year in Mexico! Here's to the second half!
Love,
Elder Rasmussen
