This has been a pretty interesting week.
Due to a nearby hurricane, it has been pretty rainy here in Queretaro. And Queretaro is famous for its bad plumming, so... it floods pretty fast here. One day we were visiting a less active family, and it started to rain. No worries, we had our umbrellas. Then as we left we walked to the main road, or I mean river. City buses were having a hard time battling the water. We had to run back to our house, run, I mean walk, because we were walking in water up to our knees. We offered help to people, but being in this catholic nation, no one wanted our help. But luckily our house didn't flood. :)
The hermanas in our district had a ward activity, and we were part of the program. We sang Cielito Lindo. "Ay, ay, ay, ay canta y no llores, porque cantando se alegran cielito lindo los corazones." It was pretty fun.
We also found a really nice Baptist lady named Mayra, we contacted her friday, visited her and taught her saturday, and on sunday went to church. Why can't all people be like that?
But all is well here in Querétaro. Hope you all have a great week!
Love,
